An convenience store might not seem like the most upscale place to get a drink, but Unknownz Hype Bar make their visitor’s way to this convenience store in Tropicana Avenue, and they’ll find a hidden entrance beside a fridge that leads to an awesome drinking den. 

Briefed with creating hidden spaces in unexpected places that reflects the character of the business, we decided the given space into 2 zones: a convenience store and a bar which were connected by a dark backstreet laneway. The contrast between dark and light elements shows the quality of the rich materials displayed in the entire space. “Black, red, and blue are used as the main tones of the atmosphere, where large blocks of contrasting colors attract the attention of visitors and provide them with a perfect background for photographs.
